We are the only private elementary Montessori in San Francisco. We offer both Spanish immersion and English elementary school programs.

A letter from our founder, pari schacht

“Now that my oldest child is graduating from Montessori preschool, I'm just as determined to continue his Montessori education into the elementary years. Why am I so invested in Montessori? After a career in education, first as a high school teacher and then as President of a tutoring company for over a decade, I've become all too familiar with the shortcomings of traditional education. But if I had to highlight the most concerning, it would be: that traditional schools can extinguish the natural joy all children have for learning.

I am amazed and inspired by the spark of curiosity that I’ve observed in my own children since their earliest days. I want to protect and nurture that spark, that fascination with the world around them and the love of learning that they have. As they grow older, I want them to be challenged academically, and to have a comprehensive, wide-ranging education. The only method designed both to nurture children’s natural curiosity as well as to challenge them academically is Montessori.

I'm excited to be building a new Montessori elementary school in San Francisco for my own children and hopefully for some of yours.”

We are so relieved that our daughter will be able to continue her Montessori education through her elementary years! We have watched our daughter flourish these last two years in a high-quality Montessori preschool. But beyond preschool, there have been no great options here in the city.

Montessori is the only approach that is both child-centered *and* structured for strong academics. There is such thoughtfulness and principled thinking behind every aspect of the classroom culture and curriculum—it’s an approach without parallel.
